Pro Sites Post Payment Redirect Wrong

I am using Stripe Payments with prosites. After payment, the link that shows up is like this

https://webmissioncontrol.com/pro-site/newsitename.webmissioncontrol.comwp-admin/

Which redirects people to

https://wp-admin

Any thoughts?

    Hey Justin,

I hope you're well today and thank you for your question!

It seems like there's a protocol prefix (like http:// or https://) missing somwhere. That's usually the case with such a redirects. To solve this, please go to your dashboard's

"Pro Sites" -> "Settings" page (scroll until Stripe settings section)

copy the webhook ULR displayed there and make sure that this is an exact URL given to Stripe. Also, please double check your Stripe account settings for any URLs pointing to your site - make sure they're properly formatted (with http:// or https:// prefix).

Let me know if it helped, please!

    Cheers,
    Adam

    Hi @narasopa,

Thanks for granting access, I had a look at your site and created new pro site and regular sub site and I was able to see some issues on both of them but it doesn't look like this is related to pro sites.

Have you tried disabling your other plugins and then checking if all the links are correct after that?
Or did you try disabling Pro Sites and then checking the link of sub sites?

Also, this might be some issue if your .htaccess is not configured correctly, can you try using only default code required for network installation in your .htaccess without any other rules added?

    Looking forward to your answer.

    Best regards,
    Predrag

Hi There - I'm on nginx, so .htaccess isn't even there. I guess it is possible if those links are created by some wierd redirect rule that it is possible I don't have that rule in place. I can't disable all plugins - this is a live production site - until I get a dev environment set up that won't be possible. Is there any other way of troubleshooting?

    Hey @narasopa,

Have you try contacting your hosting company with this issue to see if they have any suggestions regarding these redirects?

It would be great if you can get dev environment up and running so we can further investigate this issue of yours and try to pinpoint the cause.

Also, we are working on some updates to Pro Sites right now so new improved version should be out soon, if you don't get dev up by then try updating it to see if new version will address this issue.

    Best regards,
    Predrag
