During the recent Stripe auto-renewal fiasco (which seems to have been fixed for new accounts) I had to manually extend hosting to one of my clients in order to keep her site active until the bugs were fixed.
Now that (seemingly) the bugs have been fixed, her site is still caught in some kind of no-man's land, stuck without a proper pro sites level and unable to reactive the subscription.
Earlier today I clicked the "Stripe Reactivate" checkbox and the EXTEND button. These messages appeared in "account history" section:
2016-01-12 10:54:21 am Expired email sent to XXXXXX@gmail.com 2016-01-12 9:24:20 am Manual extension email sent to XXXXXX@gmail.com 2016-01-12 9:24:19 am Pro Site status expiration extended until January 12, 2016.
* None of those messages says anything about Stripe Reactivation (and are totally counter-intuitive... expired? manual extension? status expiration??)
* It still says "Expired Pro Site" at the top.
* Still no subscription or subscriber information listed.
So WHAT is the proper method to get this hosting account reactivated with the most minimal hassle to a client who has already been significantly annoyed by repeated attempts to get her subscription renewed?
