Problem with global product display format + wrong Buy Now vs. Add To Cart

I have a issue with using the shortcode in a PAGE on my multisite.

The primary site is http://designlifenetwork.com

i want the GLOBAL PRODUCT DISPLAY to be on the site http://store.designlifenetwork.com.

When I used the shortcode in a PAGE on store.designlifenetwork.com.

Here is the shortcode i am using:

[mp_list_global_products paginate="1" page="0" per_page="100" order_by="date" order="DECS" show_thumbnail="1" thumbnail_size="172" show_price="1" text="none" as_list="0"]

The items showing are correctly global. But the product titles are ABOVE the images and the grid is all off and the ADD TO CART shows BUY NOW. Also the IMAGE sizes are not showing correct.

here is the page for reference: http://store.designlifenetwork.com

Can anyone help me with how to fix this? I have been trying several hours.

    hiya

    the CSS will not change the cart button from buy now to add to cart.

    you can change this in the settings.

    Dashboard > Products > store settings > Presentation

    the css is likely to change for mp_link_addcart.

    or something like that.

    you can check the CSS if you use firebug addon for firefox, or webtools for chrome. it will allow you to view the CSS used on the page. you can right click and inspect element and it will show you the css used.

    hope this helps

    Okay thanks. Unfortunately still is not working -- but is beside the point. I really want NO PRODUCT NAME on the product lists page and i don't want "PRICE:" field and I did not want ADD TO CART at all.

    I really just want ITEM PICTURE (clickable to product detail) and PRICE. But I still can't figure out how to do it. I am not using your templates but our set template.

    As a non-programmer, this entire thing is proving to be a lot less "create your own Etsy in minutes" and more "weeks of frustration to get sorta etsy." Thank god you guys have been so supportive!

    I have a website: http://designlifenetwork.com. It is a magazine and marketplace. The marketplace is to have sites that are part of the network but "free standing" feed into the global marketplace.

    I installed Marketpress on the main domain http://designlifenetwork.com. The main global market is on http://store.designlifenetwork.com. This uses shortcode. An example of the "free standing" network stores is http://williameric.designlifenetwork.com. This uses the base template function.

    The two problems i am having that i need to fix are this:

    1. I need a grid that looks like the ones you guys helped me with coding: (http://store.designlifenetwork.com) BUT without the ADD TO CART, without the PRODUCT TITLE, and without the "PRICE:" text - just image and price.

    2. The second problem is no matter what i do (and again i am not a programmer) i can not get the "free standing" network stores GRIDS to look like the main store http://store.designlifenetwork.com.

    Here is the code you guys gave me to add to my .css on store.designlifenetwork.com:

    .product.type-product.mp_product .alignleft.mp_product_image_list.wp-post-image {
    height: 250px;
    }

    .product.type-product.mp_product {
    float: center;
    width: 50%;
    }

    .product.type-product.mp_product .mp_link_buynow {
    float: right;
    margin-right: 50px;
    }

    .product.type-product.mp_product {
    float: left;
    width: 50%;
    }

    .product.type-product.mp_product .alignleft.mp_product_image_list.wp-post-image {
    height: 250px;
    }

    .product.type-product.mp_product .mp_link_buynow {
    float: right;
    margin-right: 50px;
    }

    On http://store.designlifenetwork.com i am using shortcode NOT the template as I could not get the template to work format wise either (and it had to be GLOBAL).

    On http://williameric.designlifenetwork.com the system uses the base template and I have also tried the shortcode and still not working.

    Can you guys help. That would put me so much closer to this project being done and launched and each day it is not up really hurts us.

    hiya

    if you want to remove the titles & buy now etc. then use this

    #mp_product_list .mp_product_name {
        display: none !important;
    }
    #mp_product_list .mp_link_buynow {
        display: none !important;
    }

    to remove the text for Price, you might need to edit the mp templates.

    but you might be able to do this with a bit of trickery, by changing the text color to transparent, so it's the same color as the background.

    #mp_product_list .mp_product_price {
        color: transparent !important;
    }
    #mp_product_list .mp_current_price {
        color: #000000 !important;
    }

    you can use firebug with firefox browser to view any CSS on the page and then change it yourself, it really isn't as difficult as it sounds.

    hope this helps.
