Problem with the Frame market and gridmarket theme

On my site which is a mulitsite, I have:
- The main site OM with the Magazine theme from Themify. This is for my own product - the e-magazine OM
- Magic Member to admin all subcribtions for the OM-magazine
- MarketPress to be able to sell one and one of the magazines. The magazines is placed under Products on the main site.

On the side of the main site I want to have a totaly separate etsy-like e-shop
And for that I want to use:
- MarketPress
- FrameMarket with the child Gridmarket
- New Blog Template

I have manage to make one litte template website on and that looks as I thought it would. No products yet.

Now to the problem:
When I go to
it's not what I want. It´s my main site OM magazine style with some sort of combo of the global product list. This does not work for me!

My question:
How do I make the gridmarket theme to be the theme for the global marketplace on

Looking forward to your asap help.

    Hi there Eva,

Hope you're well today and thanks for your question.

Unfortunately on a Multisite install, the main site will always contain the Marketplace with MarketPress network activated.

In your specific use case, if this is possible, I'd recommend keeping your main site as is.

And then creating a new multisite on a separate domain for etsy style site and then you could place a menu item on the main site to link to that.

Would that work at all?

    Hi Jack,

That was my guess... Ok then I will do so. It will work for me!

If I understand things correct - as a Gold Member - I can't install what I need from you - lite Marketpress and so on, without any extra costs. Is that correct?

Can you recommend me what size of the new site need to be to run - hopefully - a fearly big eshop. Maybe not the size of etsy - but you never know.

    This is two different options:

    - 50,000 MB Disk Space
    - 500 GB Data Transfer
    - Unlimited Parks/Stacks
    - Unlimited Multi-Domains
    - PHP, Perl, RoR, MySQL
    - $16.95 Monthly

    - 40,000 MB Disk Space
    - 750 GB Data Transfer
    - Supports 1 Domain
    - PHP, Perl, RoR, MySQL
    - $60.00 Annually

This is cheaper with less disk space but more data transfer.

Hope you can recommend me on this

    Hi there Eva,

Hope you're well today, for what you'd need I'd recommend the first option.

This should support a small multisite install (50 sites), about 100 products each with medium traffic.

If your looking at thousands of sites and thousands of products, I'd recommend a dedicated server by a company such as Liquid Web

    Kind Regards
