Products and Categories

Hi!

I have three stores where products aren’t showing up in the greater category they belong to. I have listed the stores below that have items not showing up in their respective categories. I have granted you access to my site, can someone assist?

This store (bestplannereverforequestrians.marketequine.com) should have a Daily Planner showing up under this category (https://marketequine.com/store/accessories/), but it doesn’t.
This store (ravensrecyclables.marketequine.com) should have a Saddle showing up under this category (https://marketequine.com/store/tack-supply/), but it doesn’t.
This store (colleensclassytack.marketequine.com) should have a Saddle showing up under this category (https://marketequine.com/store/tack-supply/), but it doesn’t.

Lastly, is there a way to eliminate the smaller product image that shows up like it’s an item for sale on the category pages? Take the ‘Grooming Supplies’ page for an example, which can be found here (https://marketequine.com/store/grooming-supplies/). The category image shows up again below the larger image, so the small image looks like it’s an item for sale. Can those smaller images be removed from all of the category pages, so it doesn’t cause confusion?

Thanks!
Em

    Hi Emily,

Hope you are doing good today.

This store (bestplannereverforequestrians.marketequine.com) should have a Daily Planner showing up under this category (https://marketequine.com/store/accessories/), but it doesn’t.

I suppose you are trying to build a global cart, so all the products gets listed in your main site. For that you'll have to create Global MarketPlace Pages, under your network admin, in Settings > Store Network > Global MarketPlace Pages

Lastly, is there a way to eliminate the smaller product image that shows up like it’s an item for sale on the category pages?

How are you adding the store category pages? I could see you have added 0$ products, but I don't see how the products related to that category is called? As this isn't how the plugin works by default, please advise what I'm missing, so that I could check whether we could have a quick workaround, or not.

Please do further information, so that we could help get you sorted asap. Have a nice day.

    Kind Regards,
    Nithin

    Hi,

I tried what you said, but am very confused on what pages I am supposed to be adding to make those 3 products appear on their respective category pages. Can you assist further?

Secondly , to add the product category pages I created a store called marketequine, it is listed with the other stores. I want to keep the larger images for each store category, but get rid of the small category images that appear as if they are a product - you will know what they are because they say $0.00 under them.

Also, all of my products under 'Accessories' and 'Boots & Wraps' are now gone? Can you assist? I am very worried!

    Thank you,
    Em

    Hello Emily,

I checked your site and I see two issues that have to first resolved, because without those your store won't work correctly.
First is that store pages in your sites are not created at all, this is from your main store:

you have to click "create" for each of the pages there

This has to be done on each subsite where you have store. Without that there will be missing pages, checkout not working.
Another this is that database for MarketPress is not updated on subsites - you can see this alert there

You have to click "Go to update page" and proceed with update of database.

Before you will do any changes please create backup of your site. This is important in case something will not go well.
Let me know how it goes.

    kind regards,
    Kasia
