Profile fields will not allow me to "add group"

I have a multisite buddypress install at
theworldwaitingtv [dot] com

i'm trying to set up custom profile fields for the subsite at
model [dot] theworldwaitingtv [dot] com

i click on BuddyPress > Profile Fields and it says "You have no groups" so obviously I add a group. I name it, then hit "Create Field Group" then it gives me another error message stating "There was an error saving the group. Please try again"

I have attached screen shots. Thank you so much for your help in advance

    Hey there.

    Were there ever any groups?

There should be a base group with a display name field? If there were how did you remove it?

I suppose you could try to disable and enable the plugin and then also do the same for the component "Extended Profiles".

Admin --> Network Admin (if applicable) --> BuddyPress --> Components

Which version of BP and WP are you on currently?

Let me know how that goes.

    Take care.

looks like turning the feature off and turning it back on worked! now my next question...

so i have custom profile fields set for the "models" who sign up for accounts. i want them to sign up via a page like this:
    http://mreant.com/main/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/signupMOCKUP.jpg

so when they click on an appropriate profile type, they are taken to a custom sign up form, much like i have set up at
    model[dot ]theworldwaitingtv[dot]com/register

after they sign up create a profile, it ONE) does not post that they are a new user to the main activity stream at theworldwaitingtv[dot]com, and
TWO) if you view the profile at theworldwaitingtv[dot]com/members/avarymaye/profile/ it lacks all the custom profile fields. if you view the profile at model[dot]theworldwaitingtv[dot]com/members/avarymaye/profile/ it contains the profile fields.

it seems like depending on what subdomain you're on, it shows different profiles...this isn't really going to work out. the user only needs access to one profile, and the other users only need to see one profile per user. if there are more in the background, that'd might be okay, but the users only need to see ONE.

i hope this is making sense...
