Prosites redirect when login to user site admin

When a user signs up for a new site everything works fine and the user can view their site like this http://emily.discountwebdesigner.com/. When the user tries to login to their admin account they are redirected to a page with this url http://www.discountwebdesigner.com/pro-sites.htm?bid=5

This pages content area is blank and the users cannot access their dashboards although the login seems to work because when they go back the their site the meta widget contains a logout button and the top menu shows.

Any ideas what could make this happen?

    Hey there.

Can you please log in then go to:

    Admin –> Pages

Do you see the Pro Sites page?

Please totally remove that, so you trash it first and then view trash and permanently delete it.

    Then go to:

Admin –> Network Admin –> Pro Sites –> Settings

Ensure an option is entered for branding and then save the whole page.

Try again now and let me know if that works.

    Take care.

I remember reading somewhere that when a new site is created, the first time the user tries to go to wp-admin, he is redirected to the pro-sites page.

All they have to do to go to their administration is press the button that says they want to continue using their site for free and don’t want to update.

This is a one-time only thing, after they choose that they want to continue using it for free, they won’t be asked again.

I tried it about a week ago and confirmed it.

Could this be your case too?

Once I added some content and an image to the page that was created by prosites it is now showing the content. When the page is blank it shows nothing.

Maybe it is not loading the content area at all when that is blank. I have no idea but am relieved that it is fixed.

Hopefully this helps someone else. Maybe place it in the instructions if it happens with all new prosites installs.

    Thanks
