Protecting PDF docs with Protected Content

Hello,

How can I protect PDF docs in Protected Content plugin? The links to the pdf docs are on protected pages, but the url to download the are like this example: http://hijrt.com/downloads/test.pdf

I have tried using the Media Protection Add-On, but that just makes every image in the Media Library a broken link. I have also tried the URL Protection add on and added the pdf URL (http://hijrt.com/downloads/test.pdf), but users can still access it.

I have another support ticket open on this same issues, https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/using-the-media-protection-add-on-for-protected-content#post-838925 but it seems to have been forgotten. If I could just get some documentation on how to properly use this feature, it would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris

    Hey @Christopher!

Didn't see an update from you on that other thread noting that this was still an issue, but no worries, I've just posted there.

At the moment, in order to achieve a URL structure like what you're looking for, you'd be looking to use the Media Protection add-on, we'll need to get that bug fixed first though.

I'll be closing this thread here, so that we can continue the discussion over on your other thread.

    Kind Regards,
    Michael
