Query on Hummingbird needed features and release date

I see that Hummingbird is coming soon... will it address all items in the tests of Pingdom, PageSpeed, YSlow and GTMatrix (combo of earlier)? I want the quickest site for users and SEO and also the best performance on my server to prevent having to upgrade prematurely (saves me money for my WPMU membership )

Current items I get lower than 99 or 100 in on ussunnah.org network are:

- Combine external JavaScript
- Parallelize downloads across hostnames
- Combine external CSS
- Serve static content from a cookieless domain
- Remove query strings from static resources
- Minimize DNS lookups
- Leverage browser caching
- Specify a cache validator
- Specify image dimensions
- Defer parsing of JavaScript
- Remove query strings from static resources
- Optimize the order of styles and scripts
- Inline small JavaScript
- Specify a cache validator
- Specify a character set early
- Leverage browser caching
- Add Expires headers
- Make fewer HTTP requests
- Use a Content Delivery Network (CDN)
- Use cookie-free domains
- Minify JavaScript and CSS
- Reduce DNS lookups

Will these all be addressed and when is the release date?

    Hey @admin1903,

There's quite a few things on that list and unfortunately I don't know any plugin that would be able to take care of all of these at once.

Hummingbird offers browser caching, file minification, gzip compression for optimizing your site, and then there's uptime monitoring that will notify you if your site goes down and performance report which is similar as google pagespeed test.

We are not sure about the release date just yet, plugin release candidate is already available here so if it all goes well and there are no major issues that need more time addressing we might see final version really soon

Hello us-Sunnah the leverage browser caching is the same as add expires header here is some snippet code for your .htaccess file
    <IfModule mod_expires.c>

    ExpiresActive on

    ExpiresByType image/jpg "access 1 month"
    ExpiresByType image/jpeg "access 1 month"
    ExpiresByType image/gif "access 1 month"
    ExpiresByType image/png "access 1 month"
    ExpiresByType text/css "access 1 month"
    ExpiresByType application/pdf "access1 month"
    ExpiresByType text/x-javascript "access 1 month"
    ExpiresByType application/x-shockwave-flash "access 1 month"
    ExpiresByType image/x-icon "access 1 year"
    ExpiresDefault "access 7 days"
Using a subdomain that is cookie free is the vast majority of info I find on that subject which I too need to do. If you use WP Fastest Cache you can solve at least a third of your issues. Combine and minify options and more. Please let me know how you make out. I am curious to see what you may find or you remedy some of these issues I have as well. If that code does not work for you you can just cut it out and refresh your site. I went through 3 different snippets before finding one that worked for me. Good luck.
