If you go to http://www.allfacebook.com/facebook-like-count it shows that this site has 2612 likes.

    Greetings @patrickt010

    Thank you for being a member and for posting to the forum.

    I had a look at the first link (was using Firefox) and couldn't see the floating social at all. I checked the code via Firebug and could see it there, but it wasn't displaying at all. I then checked via IE9 and saw it, but it was a bit distorted. So that would be my first concern. It does seem to me that it's either a plugin conflict or a theme to plugin conflict.

    What other plugins have you got installed on your WordPress site? For testing purposes please deactivate all other plugins and see if the problem still persist. Also, please deactivate the InStyle theme and use the standard WordPress Twenty Eleven theme - just to rule out theme to plugin conflict.

    Once this is done and the problem still persist of not showing the correct Facebook count we will have to investigate further and ask the Developer to also provide feedback.

    So for now I will wait for your feedback. A bit of homework for you, I'm sorry. But this will make it easier for us to find the problem.

    Thank you and have a great day!

    Hope my response is helpful. Appreciate a thumbs up if it is. If it's not, please let me know how I can serve you better.

    @GinaB

    Thanks for your help. Ok I have resolved the problem of the like count within the box_template.php by hard coding some changes.

    case "facebook":
    							echo '<div class="fb-like" data-href="http://midwesttomatofest.com" data-send="false" data-layout="box_count" data-width="450" data-show-faces="true"></div>';
    							break;
    						case "twitter":
    							if (!in_array('twitter', $skip_script)) echo '<script>!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");</script>';
    							echo '<a href="https://twitter.com/share" class="twitter-share-button" data-url="http://midwesttomatofest.com" data-via="TomatoFight" data-related="Patrickt010" data-count="vertical" data-hashtags="midwesttomatofight">Tweet</a>';
    							break;

    and additionally I had to add this code to the header.php for the theme, but this could be done in genesis settings for other users.

    <div id="fb-root"></div>
    <script>(function(d, s, id) {
      var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];
      if (d.getElementById(id)) return;
      js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id;
      js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1&appId=196628437102457";
      fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);
    }(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));</script>

    All that is left to do is to do is fix the css issues and verify that it is cross-browser compatible as I have modified the wdsb.css base styles.

Thank NAME, for their help.
