Redirect from HTTP to HTTPS

Already changed the site URL to HTTPS and added .htaccess rules but the main site is still not redirecting from HTTP to HTTPS.
Any further relevant troubleshooting details: I would like to get the valuable feedback from the SLS team, I tried a SSL plugin, .htaccess rules, but was not able to redirect HTTP to HTTPS. The main site works properly, but if you enter the HTTP version it doesn't redirect to HTTPS.
I have already tried this:

    Hello tedwalid,

It seems that support access to your site expired. It also looks we will need to check your database, so could you please send in the following via our secure contact form https://premium.wpmudev.org/contact/#i-have-a-different-question :

    - Mark to my attention, the subject line should contain only: ATTN: Kasia Swiderska
    - Do not include anything else in the subject line, doing so may delay our response due to how email filtering works.
    - Link back to this thread
    - Include WordPress network admin access details (login address, username & password)
    - Include cPanel credentials (or access to PhpMyAdmin)
    - Include any relevant URLs for your site

IMPORTANT: Please make sure you select "I have a different question" for your topic, so it doesn't go back to the forums - this and the subject line ensure that it gets assigned to me.

Please confirm here that you send those credentials

    kind regards,
    Kasia

    Hi tedwalid,

Thanks for sending details. But I'm afraid, the given FTP credentials are not working for me. It's giving the following error:

    Status: Resolving address of d***********
    Status: Connecting to XX.XX.XX.XX:XX...
Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Could not connect to server

Can you please provide us working credentials?

And as Kasia said above, we need to check your database for troubleshooting this. Can you please tell us how we can access your database?

Please provide us these details. I'm looking forward to hearing from you and resolving this issue as soon as possible.

    Have a nice day. Cheers!
    Rupok

    Hello tedwalid,

I checked your site's database and in database urls are still http. You need to use access to PhpMyAdmin and go to tables: _options (your database prefix is different) and _sitemeta.
In _options find: siteurl and home - edit those fields and change url to https.
In _sitemeta find siteurl and also edit that and change url to https.

After that your site will start working under https and also all new blogs will be created with https.

Before making any changes in database please make sure you have backup of it (you can do it in the Export tab in Phpmyadmin).

    kind regards,
    Kasia

    Hello Kasia,

I have changed the access credentials because I gave them to too many people and as they are not working together, everyone is changing something somewhere and the site was crashing over and over.
Globally, what I have done was changing " You need to use access to PhpMyAdmin and go to tables: _options (your database prefix is different) and _sitemeta.
In _options find: siteurl and home - edit those fields and change url to https.
In _sitemeta find siteurl and also edit that and change url to https. " and its working just fine, all the network is now httpS because I have installed a SSL certificate for each subsite.

Now, what Im trying to achieve is : Im using Pro Sites so people can create blog and sites, the issue is whenever a subsite is created it is automatically httpS and as I can't automate the SSL certification for each subsite created, i have to do it manually. The thing is, users will get 'scared' of the google' notification of insecurity. That would be awesome if you can help me achieving that each subsite that is getting created is http and not httpS so users wont have google alert. Also, one of my pro sites level is ecommerce, so i need to switch that http created bu users into httpS manually.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks
