Redirect to protected page after they've registered.

Hi, when a user attempts to access protected content, they are taken to the register page as they should be, but once they register successfully they are taken to the "Registration Complete" page. Is there a way to take them to the page they were trying to access to begin with? Rather then them trying to find that page all over again or hitting the back button over and over...

Thanks!

    Hi Kandace,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

Hi, when a user attempts to access protected content, they are taken to the register page as they should be, but once they register successfully they are taken to the "Registration Complete" page.

Actually they are taken to the login page and not register page as shown in the attached screenshot and if the user logins then he is redirected to the page which he was trying to access before log in.

Yes after successful registration the user is redirected to the "Registration Complete" page that you have set in the Membership 2 pages settings.

Is there a way to take them to the page they were trying to access to begin with?

Actually even after registration the page doesn't become accessible for the user until he logins so we have to redirect the user to that page after he logins which is currently working if the registered user tried to access the protected page without login and after login he gets redirected to that protected page successfully.

This is working fine for registered users as the protected page URL is appended to the log in page URL as query string but for non registered users they have to visit several page to register the user account and then login so it's hard to maintain that query string so it's not implemented yet.

If you are comfortable with it then we can make it work by developing custom code that will either keep this query string or temporary save the previously accessed protected page URL somewhere then redirect the user to it after the user registers and logins.

    Kind Regards,
