Reminder emails get sent after the appointment and not before it

Appointment+ is sending out reminder emails after the appointment and not before it
We set up our own test so it is emails us to remind us. Upon placing the booking it correctly sent out the first email to both the client and the provider. The reminder emails are set at 24,4 for client and 24,2,1 for provider. Both provider and client got only 1 reminder 36hrs and 19 mins after the appoitment.

    I checked your site and I see you are running version 2.2.2.2 of Appointments+. This version is a bit old and there have been a number of updates and fixes in the latest release.

    In order to ensure that we're not trying to troubleshoot an issue that has already been resolved in the latest version, would you please upgrade to the latest version on your site and retest?

    Hi James
    I have updated to the latest version
    Cleared out the logs file
    added a "free" service as a test
    booked 1 free service for Monday (today is friday)
    The appointment did not auto confirm (it is set to and the old version was and that did not auto confirm either)
    Manually updated the appointment to confirmed
    email reminders are set at 24,2 client and 24,4,1 provider
    There has been no emails sent so far for the appointment booking
    I have not used the (re)send confirmation email tick box when I updated the booking manually to confirmed

    I have never been able to get the auto conform to work for free bookings, I dont need it as i would only use a paid system and creating a £1.00 booking that system always works fine. But for testing and not paypal sandboxing the autoconfirm is a useful item

    It is 1 hour after booking and manually confirming
    No emails sent (log file empty)
    it is 79hrs to the actual booking time - so I am not expecting a reminder but I am expecting a notification of booking?

    I have added 4 appointments
    12)12.23 26/1/18 for 09.00 29/1/18
    13)12.54 26/1/18 for 14.00 27/1/18
    14)12.54 26/1/18 for 08.00 27/1/18
    15)12.55 26/1/18 for 13.00 28/1/18

    here is the log file minus email addresses

    I have also had the new appointment emails for 13/14/15 received at 12.56 but they do not appear in the log file, however I do not have a new appointment email for id 12

    so I have now had these logs

    so at the same time for 3 appointments it sent out reminders
    id 13 and id 14 have passed by 6hrs 20 and 14hrs 20
    id 15 is 14hrs and 40 mins away
    none of these fit the 24,4,2,1 times set
    and nothing for id 12, not even had a confirmation of booking for that one?

    I apologize for the delay here. With the current version (now 2.2.4) I've not been able to replicate this issue on my own test install. Can you please check with version 2.2.4?
