Remove Default Meta Widget from Default Sample Page.

Hi.

Does anyone have a 'piece of code' (that could be used as a mu-plugin) that will remove the "Meta" widget display from the default sample page, please?

But we need more information about your question. Are you talking about any of our plugins or themes? What do you mean default sample page? Would you please share a link and add more details?

I have my multi-site set to open on the sample page for 'new signups'?

It displays as per the link image.

So I would like to be able to remove the 'circled' Meta options!

The ideal method for me would be via 'a piece of code' that I could use as an 'mu-plugin'?

Could you please share the page URL from your site where it's displaying so that we can get some more information about it or tell us which theme are you using?

Do you want to just remove the Meta widget from displaying on the Default Sample Page or only when you don't use it explicitly on the sidebar displayed on the Default Sample Page?

You can just hide the Meta widget on the Default Sample Page by adding the following CSS code in the style.css file of your child theme or add it in your site using the following plugin.

  display: none;
}
```
Or use the following piece of code in your mu plugins file.

if(is_page(2)){
 ?>

add_action('wp_footer', 'add_custom_support_scripts');
```
