Remove rendering blocking resources.

I need help with removing rendering blocking resources. It is suggesting to Optimize CSS Delivery to

    Hi Ben

I hope you're well today and thank you for your question!

I checked the site and there's currently more that this only resource marked as "render blocking". Most of them could be eliminated by configuring the Hummingbird's "Asset Optimization" (which is currently not configured at all, apart from this single font URL) but there are also resources that would need some more "tricky" handling.

In case of Google Fonts (or most other fonts that are included that way from external resources) would require code changes so the fonts would be "localized" (fetch from location local to the site) and then loaded asynchronously. This is actually a Google PageSpeed "glitch" in testing that reports their own fonts as render blocking without any additional explanation of how to address that.

There's a solution for this but it requires a bit of custom coding (so would also be recommended to be used with child theme):

    https://wordpresssupercharged.com/how-to-improve-page-speed-by-deferring-web-fonts/

However, I also run some tests on my own site with the theme that you're using and with full Asset Optimization configuration you should be able to go down to a minimum number of "render blocking resources", to the amount that wouldn't really affect your site speed in a noticeable way.

If you need further information on how to set the Asset Optimization, let me know please and I'll be happy to assist you further.

    Kind regards,
    Adam
