    Hi there John.

Hope you are doing great and thank you for contacting us.

There could be many answers to your question, it all depends on the theme you are using. Most themes have a PHP file where footer code is contained an re-used. It is generally called footer.php, but again it might be different for your case depending on the themes and plugins you are using, such as page builders, etc... You will need to edit it to customize it as you want, if the option to remove links from the footer is not present in the WordPress admin.

May I remind you that it is always recommended to create a child theme to edit such files because if not, you may lose all your custom edits when you customize your theme. Please take a little bit of time and read this article: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/how-to-create-wordpress-child-theme/ than you can copy the footer file, for example footer.php (assuming your theme uses that one) to your child theme folder and customize it there. If you are not into coding you might want the help of a developer.

But, we are here to help 24/7 in case you need us

    Best Regards,
    Jon
