Removing summary on event index page, etc.

Firstly, I need to remove all of that ugly, spaceless copy in the summary on this events page: http://secretsundaylunchclub.co.uk/events/

My client has given up on the inbuilt functionality of the payment process. So I also need to remove everything under the main title down to (and including) GBP 44.00, i.e. all of the content—INCLUDING the "Attend this event" button—that is fed through by the Events+ plugin, on this page (and all subsequent pages like it, of course): http://secretsundaylunchclub.co.uk/events/2016/01/sunday-17th-january/

Is there a way to stop this from being so ugly (in the future)? With the quality of many of the WPMU Dev plugin, I'm kinda lost as to why this seems so budget and un-user-friendly. Sorry, I don't mean to sound rude, but it seems really dated in terms of design quality, the layout is kinda haphazard and those icons look like they were created back in the '90's. And why do the summaries get squashed up to the point they drop spaces between words? Surely this is appropriate for anyone using the plugin! Am I missing something though? Is there some sort up update that I haven't run perhaps?

    Hello Mark,

    I really don't know what to say about ugliness of the plugin :slight_smile: - I can only show your opinion to plugin developer so he maybe in future change this.

    And why do the summaries get squashed up to the point they drop spaces between words?

    What template did you use for archive page? One from plugin or one from your theme? Because I can't replicate this issue on my testing site.

    But we can remove it with some custom CSS added to your child theme:

    .post-type-archive-incsub_event article.type-incsub_event .entry-content.excerpt,
    .wpmudevevents-header,
    #wpmudevevents-contentheader,
    #wpmudevevents-contentmeta {display: none;}

    or use this small plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/

    kind regards,
    Kasia
