reports for Marketpress and site speed issue

Are there any reports for Marketpress?

Our customer is very very disappointed on the speed of thier site. Pagely, their host, continues to blame Marketpress.

As Kris mentioned in ticket #79692, the site's creating a cookie and that's breaking our cache layer:

It's specifically the marketpress plugin. It seems to start a phpsession on every page rather than just using it on checkout/customer pages.

It's important to have those cookies limited to certain section of the site (ex. checkout).

It's important for the site to hit cache wherever possible so it performs well at scale. Otherwise, you may need to deal with the slowness if a cookie is present on every page.

    Hi MSAMike,

When it comes to site speed, this entirely depends upon various factors on which your website is configured, what all plugins are installed, your hosting environment etc. Could you please enable support access, to give a closer look at your configuration, and check all the other factors regarding this, so that we could advice you better.

Our developer would be able to give a better idea about sessions the plugin creates, I'm pinging the developer on this, and will ask to give a closer look, so that we would be able to give a better idea regarding this issue. Please do note that developers work round the clock with many critical issues, and hence have a slow response time. Either myself, or the developer will keep you posted asap. Have a nice day.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi MSAMike,

Hope you are doing good today.

I do understand what you meant, I have already passed your observation to the developer, and have asked to give a look regrading this. I wasn't able to find the support access enabled before, and even now it seems like the support access isn't enabled.

Do you have Coupons add-on enabled in MarketPress? If we could give a closer look at your settings, we could have a better understanding of this, and I would be able to address this issue better to the developer.

Please check this manual to enable support access:

Please let us know once you enable support access, so that we could help get this sorted.

    Best Regards,

    Hello MSAMike,

If granting access is not working (are there any errors showing when you try that?), could you please send in the following via our secure contact form :

    - Mark to my attention, the subject line should contain only: ATTN: Kasia Swiderska
    - Do not include anything else in the subject line, doing so may delay our response due to how email filtering works.
    - Link back to this thread
    - Include WordPress admin access details (login address, username & password)
    - Include FTP log-in details (hostname, username & password)
    - Include any relevant URLs for your site

IMPORTANT: Please make sure you select "I have a different question" for your topic, so it doesn't go back to the forums - this and the subject line ensure that it gets assigned to me.

When you send those please confirm here

    kind regards,
