Response time

Hi, I installed the Hub and activated the response time. After that it show a drop from 400 to 650ms. Is this due to our Wordpress configuration or a problem with our host? Can you see more specifically the cause of the drop?

    This mainly depends on the server. But it partially depends on the site configuration too.

    If you are on a shared hosting, then it's possible that the server got busier and that's the reason for the drop out of the response time.

    If you are on VPS (and it's also true for a shared server as well), you need to check if you recently installed any plugins or theme or make any change in the functionality. The response time actually depends on how busy the server is - it could be the server itself or your site (and other sites in case of shared hosting) is keeping the server busy.
