Save message in the database

Would be difficult to save the message in the database using the Contact Widget so I can take it for displaying in some page of the site or do I have to have another plugin for it? I'm open for suggestions if you have...

    Hey there.

The Contact Widget plugin wouldn't be able to do that, sorry.

If it were me then I might consider something like Gravity Forms, Formidable Pro or Ninja.

These have the ability for you to submit to custom post types. So you could use our CustomPress here:

    https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/custompress

Then have those forms submit to that custom post type you make.

You could then display it on your site as you wish.

If you only want to display certain ones in other posts, then you might need another plugin for that.

    Hope this help.

    Take care.

    Hello, Timothy.
Thank you very much for your cool reply. I know the Contact Widget is very simple and I really like it and maybe we had some way to do that with it... but thanks too much for your suggestions. They're really great. I know Gravity Form as I have used for a client some time ago and is a very good solution indeed. I'm going to take a look on the other options you mentioned and use the CustomPress in the way you said. Seems to be really a cool way to do what I have in mind.

Best regards and thanks too much,
    Marcelo Rocha.

Glad I could be of help.

I suppose it would be with our widget, but it would require some customisation and coding.

I think the other options I mentioned would be better purely because they exist.

I forget links to those other plugins, I know you've used Gravity but I'll list em all:

    http://gravityforms.com

    http://formidablepro.com

    http://wpninjas.net/plugins/ninja-forms/

I've only really played with the first two, so can't say to much on the Ninja Forms.

    Take care.
