Serve Content Only To Logged In Visitors

Hi,

I just added this to my theme's functions.php file:

/* Dainis Shortcode Addition */
add_shortcode( 'registeredandloggedin', 'member_check_shortcode' );
function member_check_shortcode( $atts, $content = null ) {
if ( is_user_logged_in() && !is_null( $content ) && !is_feed() )
return $content;
return '';
}

I learned how to do so here:
http://www.wprecipes.com/wordpress-shortcode-display-content-to-registered-users-only

that way, I just surround my content with
[registeredandloggedin]
Content served if user is registered and logged in
[/registeredandloggedin]
and I'm curious if the members plugin can do this already…I tried activating it on one of my sites to get this request done...but it seemed like I had to set a whole lot of settings...I dragged and dropped everything into the plugin admin panel, etc., but I could not see how to accomplish the simple task I accomplished above with the WPMU membership plugin.

So, can you tell me the procedure for handling the above with the membership plugin? Did I go the long way round on this one?

Best,
Dainis
