    Hi Sandy,

    Hope you are doing good today.

    Here you can read our article about this error:
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/500-internal-server-error/

    1. In the first place you would you please run a conflict test? Please deactivate all plugins except WPMU DEV Dashboard and check if the problem gone. If so, then enable all plugins one by one and find which one is having conflict. If there is no positive result, switch to default WordPress theme like 2017 and see if it works.

    2. In the second place, please check your memory_limit on the server. You can check this in your Dashboard: WPMU DEV -> Support -> SYSTEM INFO button

    It should be at least 256M - here you can find a article how to increase the maximum upload and PHP memory limit - https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/increase-memory-limit/

    3. Third cause of this issue can be corrupted .htaccess. Please make a backup of your .htaccess file and make a new one. Add there this code:

    # BEGIN WordPress
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    </IfModule>
    # END WordPress

    and check if problem is solve.

    4. Check also nr 7 - Enable Debugging and Logging - from this article - https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/500-internal-server-error/

    If none of the four common solutions will not help you, please let us know, we will try to find a solution to this problem.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris
