Session start error after migration

After moving the site and content to a new server, we're getting this error:

Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: open(/tmp/sess_5e37fbf3258d7933623503adeb4dfcba, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in /home/leancour/public_html/wp-content/plugins/coursepress/coursepress.php on line 153

    Hey @ChooseGrowth, I hope that you are having a great day besides the error! :slight_smile:

    This is a server error, so it's kind of out of our jurisdiction, but I did look into the error and I found that the best solution is as follows:

    "Ask them to fix the broken PHP session feature of the web server. It will better help them resolve the problem if you include the error message and a URL to your page with the error on it. They can create the proper temporary folder needed for PHP sessions. If the folder is already there, they can check and make the necessary adjustments to the folder permissions or group ownership. Then the sessions will work as they should."

    -Sorry I could not be of more help.
