Set A Category Default for New Blog Templates

I have around 30 templates in my multisite, and it's a lot when a user chose one of them.

My question is: is there a way to set a default category instead "All" ? Or better have navigation page at the bottom (Page 1, Page 2, ....) and allow a maximum number of templates per pages?

Thank you for your tips.

    Hey Xavier,

    Hope you're doing well today :slight_smile:

    I'm afraid that NBT doesn't have an option to limit number of templates that will be shown but it does sound as an interesting addition so I'll move this thread to our features & feedback section and our developers can consider adding such feature.

    For now we could use a jQuery to switch to specific category after page load, the code would look like this:

    function select_default_category() { ?>
    	<script type="text/javascript">
    		jQuery(window).load(function() {
    		    jQuery('#nbt-toolbar [data-cat-id="2"]').click();
    add_action( 'wp_footer', 'select_default_category' );

    You will need to replace 2 in data-cat-id="2" part and enter ID of the category you want selected by default.

    You can add this code as a mu-plugin on your network.

    Best regards,
