[Shipper Pro] Trying to migrate my MS over to you and eventually everything Shipper doesnt work li

I'm trying to move over to you guys all of my sites but it will be a slow and arduous process. I want to start by moving my testing MS and then work on getting my domain mapping straightened around since I never have gotten that to work but I need to start by getting my site over to you.

I have granted support access to the site.

I try to do the preflight and it cannot get past the first step.

Thanks for the help.

    Hello there Randy

Shipper is a migration tool that requires some extended time for migration, but our hosting platform includes another migration tool which should work much faster.

In order to initiate this, just create a new empty site in our hosting and navigate to the Tools tab as shown below:

Let us know how that goes! And no worries if you're still having problems with that, as long as this is a migration to our hosting, we can manually migrate your site(s) for you.

    Warm regards,

    Migration error from http://www.bwcreate.com/

Sorry about that, it appears there was a problem with your migration from http://www.bwcreate.com/ to http://bwgrounds.wpmudev.host: Mirror parallel appears to have timed out so try again without the parallel option in the mirror download.

Sometimes this is an intermittent issue so it can be worth trying again at least once. We’ve worked really hard to make our migration tool compatible with as many hosting providers and site configurations as possible, but sometimes there are issues we just can’t work around. If this problem continues you can try migrating with our Shipper plugin instead.

If you are still having problems, our amazing support team would be happy to help you out with your migration. Just let us know!

Thanks for your patience, we are excited to see how much you’ll love our WPMU DEV hosting product!

It looks as though I’m going to have to do this manual style. It’s been a while since I got it to work but I will give it a go. Migrations and backups have been excruciatingly painful for the last year for me. Hopefully all will be alleviated once I get over here.

    Morning Nastia

As of right now I am downloading the files. Once I have them I will Upload them to WPMU servers. The one thing that I don’t know at this point is where to upload my database, I will take a look for that shortly.

Thank you for the willingness to give me a hand. I want to learn so I’m going to try and maybe ask some questions if that is ok.

    Hello Randy

    Hope you're doing well!

You can access the phpMyAdmin from your hosting end, on the Overview tab. Please scroll at the bottom and look for the Tools section. In there is a link "Manage database".

    Please see this screenshot:

In the phpMyAdmin, please click on the Import tab and import the .sql file which should contain your database. Please make sure , if the "wp_" prefix will be changed, to change it in the wp-config.php file as well.

During the migration, please make sure not to change the database passwords and name in the wp-config.php file.

Let us know if you have any further questions!

Have a good day and take care!
