Hello:

I am reading about the various plugins and many refer to the "sign up" process. I want visitors to be able to sign up and get a blog. But I do not know how to enable or where to get the "sign up" form? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Also, what is the simplest way or plugin to allow visitors to sign up and start creating their blog?

    Hi randit,

Judging by a few of your past posts, I believe you've already got a Multisite setup and the online manuals here can help you get a good start with familiarizing yourself with how it all works.

That said, the following page goes into detail on this specific topic:
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/wpmu-manual/creating-usernames-using-your-signup-page/

And since you appear to be using BuddyPress, your site's visitors would be able to create blogs/sites by registering at the following url (substituting your real domain name of course):
    yourdomain.com/register

@John, thanks for pointing out the Supporter plugin, that is indeed a good place to start.

    Cheers,
    David

I sincerely appreciate all of your help! I have added the supporter plugin, read the manual part about adding users and more. I configured the network settings to: Both sites and user accounts can be registered, and when I click on the home screen sign up I am taken to this page: http://buy-website-online.com/register/ which allows visitors to register for the site or indicate if they want to set up a blog. Here is my problem... I do not want visitors to have access to the website, there is not purpose for them to register unless they want to access and make a blog. I tried working with the other setting options and when changed from the previously mentioned then the link does not work~! I am hoping for an easy sign up solution (using pay pal) for visitors to register only to make a new blog. I hope this all makes sense. Thanks again!

Hello! I was wondering if anyone was free to help me with the last inquiry. I am confused about this signup process and I am sure it is easy... but I am stuck with the above mentioned set up. I did change the home page and now need to link banners etc. Thanks again for all of your help and support!

    Hi randit,

I believe the only way to achieve what you're requesting is to customize the signup process itself, as WordPress doesn't provide a way to require site creation upon signup.

It's an interesting scenario and I was looking into any way to easily achieve that. It might be possible to use something like Gravity Forms, but I've not tried that myself.

You might consider posting a request to the job board for that customization.
