Site Info and Site Settings url different (http vs https)

The site info of my main site shows http but the site settings says https. All the sub-sites show https on both info and settings. Is this an issue?

    Hello Beau,

Its good that settings have correct URLs because those one are used by the WordPress, plugins and themes in their functions.
It might be just a glitch that in info it was not updated - but you don't see issues on your main site with https not working or strange redirects there is noting to worry. Are there any strange issues on your site?

    kind regards,
    Kasia

    Hi Kasia,

I actually think there are a few issues. I get the attached message from Defender plugin when trying to activate Blacklist monitoring. I'm also having issues with a couple sites with Snapshot and when I just tried to update settings with WP Smush it said "Error posting to API: Problem with the SSL CA cert (path? access rights?)". Enabling "Uptime Monitoring" in Hummingbird also gave me the 2nd attached message. Is there a suggested way to fix this glitch or whatever it might be?

    Advice much appreciated!
    Beau

    H Rupok,

I actually followed that link's instructions about 6 months ago and I thought everything was good. I just tried changing it back and redoing "https" in the url in the database but it's still "http" in INFO and "https" in SETTINGS. I checked and settings went to http when I changed it back so it seemed as if it was working but again the site INFO never changed back to https. I had another site show the attached message when using WP Smush Pro. Any other advice?

    Many thanks!

Hi Beau, hope you had a wonderful day.

I'm so sorry for the delay in response here. I logged in and went to your PHPMyAdmin and searched for "http://par*****.**********ery.org". I found lots of instances there. I've changed those to "https://par*****.**********ery.org".

Can you please check on your Dashboard if it's showing HTTPS now? If not, can you please grant us Support Access once again so we can investigate further and resolve this issue as soon as possible?

    Have a nice day. Cheers!

    Hi Rupok,
Thanks so much. I'm not sure why that was the case but thank you for cleaning that up. Unfortunately, the issue still appears to be unresolved for some reason. I granted Support Access again. Let me know if you need anything else!

    Thanks!

Hi Beau, hope you had a wonderful day.

Thanks for granting Support Access again. This is really weird. I could not find any more instances of site address config in database with "http", but in your site, it's still showing "http". Can you please make a duplicate of your site in the same environment and let us know credentials so we can make some extensive tests on that?

Or if you think, it's doing fine in current setup, you can keep it as it is.

    Have a nice day. Cheers!

    Rupok,

Sorry for the obvious question but what do you mean by "duplicate of your site in the same environment"? Make another subdomain and copy the site over on the server? Do you perchance have any instructions on how to do that? I'd be happy to do it as I would like to resolve the issue if possible.

    Let me know... Thanks
