Slow WPMU performance (http get 200 ok)

Does anyone know why my site has an http get 200 ok time of almost 1,8s waiting?

And why does the site still refers to my parent site? (

I hope someone is able to help me!

Are you on a shared host? You could try increasing your memory.

define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M'); sets the limit to 256megs instead of the default 32. Make sure you check with your host if you are not sure if you can do this.

Even though you are using domain mapping, some plugins will be referring to the main network domain. If this is intolerable, I would find replacements that don't do it.

I can't really think of a major problem with this though unless you are building a big stupid link network. In that case you are wasting your time with multisite anyway.

I found out that it only happens with my multisite sites,

when i install the exact same site in single site mode the loading times will drop significly

Might someone willing to check my multisite instalation?

    Hiya Luc,

Did you try upping your memory limit as Jeff mentioned above? We recommend at least 128MB for all multisite installations.

Also, you could look at some caching plugins to increase the overall time as well. There's a few threads on caching techniques, strategies, etc here on the forums.
