Smart Crawl Error- no useful results

Samrt Crawl Pro is returing a crawl error- There was an error crawling, we weren't able to get meaningful results

Not sure why? There is no info on how to resolve this.

Any ideas?

    Hello tim_handley,

    I hope you're well today and thank you for your question!

    I checked your site and checked SEO Checkup logs on our end for it. It seems that SmartCrawl doesn't even manage to connect with our checkup engine as there's no trace of the process in our logs.

    This means that "something" is interfering with it either on your site's level or on a server level so we need to identify what that is.

    That said, I noticed a couple of errors reported in a browser console during the scan attempt, related to Jetpack. Could you start with disabling Jetpack temporarily and checking the scan again?

    If it still doesn't work, please enable WordPress debugging by adding following lines to the "wp-config.php" file (via FTP or cPanel's File Manager) above the /* That's all, stop editing */ line:

    define('WP_DEBUG', true);
    define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);
    define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);

    After that try running the scan again, preferably a few times, and then:

    - access your WP install via FTP or cPanel File Manager again
    - look for the file called "debug.log" inside the /wp-content/ folder
    - download it, rename to "debug.txt" and share with me here

    Hopefully that will give us some clue on what's happening.

    Kind regards,
