SmartCrawl plugin isn't recognizing subheadings.

I'm using Visual Composer Plugin, and I have StartCrawl setup, and when I am editing a page and save it, it does not seem to recognize keywords that are in subheadings <h2> or <h3> tags to be specific, but I have more than one tag on my page, please, advice.

    Hi Nick Simpson

I hope you're well today and thank you for your question!

The issue here is the way SmartCrawl is checking these keywords. The "Focus Keyword" that you got defined - according to current way of analyzing content - has to be present in all the heading and sub-headings (so if you got H1, H2 and H3, the focus keyword must be in all of them), otherwise it will report missing keywords in sub-headings.

This is not a bug but it's not the way it should be working as well and our developers are already aware of it. As far as I'm aware, there's already a proper patch tested and ready and I think it should be included in on of the nearest upcoming releases.
