[Smush Pro] Bulk directory smush stops working

I'm trying to run a bulk directory smush on quite a lot of images (almost 4000). The tool keeps getting hung up and stopping. It used to stop at 107 but after a while it moved forward. Now it's stopping at image 809. I left my computer running for 2 hours and didn't move past this point.

    Hi David,

I am sorry to read that you are having an issue. Since support access to your site is disabled at the moment, I wasn’t able to give a closer look into this issue.

Could you please grant support staff access so that we could give a closer look. You can grant access from WPMU DEV > Support > Support Access > Grant Access, or check this manual: https://premium.wpmudev.org/docs/getting-started/getting-support/#chapter-5

Please let us know once you enable access so that we could get this sorted.

    Kind Regards,

    Nebu John

    Hi David,

Thank you for granting support access.

On further investigating, I was able to run a Bulk Smush on directory specified in the chat on more than 2000 images. However, I was unable to complete it since a single session of support access lasts only for one hour. Till the end of the session, the bulk smush was running without any issue.

I appreciate if you could run a bulk smush on this folder in non-peak hours and check. If the issue still persists, could you please share your sites WP admin login, and cPanel login so that we can debug this further?

Note: Don’t leave your login details in this ticket.

Instead, you can send us your details using our contact form
