[Smush Pro] Properly size images

Hello, for our site, we have enabled smush pro and automatic resizing. However, many images are not fixed with the plugin. Everything says it’s automatically served and resided by your CDN.

We are aiming to give our users a perfect experience while on our site and the image resizing is a big factor of that.

Can you help?

    Hello John Cantlin ,

    I’m sorry about this issue.

    Could you try applying this fix to the Smush plugin and see if it will change anything:
    in core/modules/class-cdn.php on line 669 replaceif ( is_array( $size ) && $size[0] > $content_width ) { with if ( is_array( $size ) && $size[0] < $content_width ) {

    (make sure to backup this file before doing any changes)

    Let me know if this will help.

    kind regards,

    Hi John Cantlin

    Hope you are doing well

    Those are some default WordPress configuration but seems the theme is not getting those size for the images that are not being resized.

    Can you forward us some information and we can take a closer look for you?

    Hi John Cantlin

    Hope you are doing well.

    I checked the site and I see you removed the post loop where most of the images were loading wrong.

    I see there are four wrong images.

    On this part, your theme is forcing the 90px on CSS.

    .post.listing .figure img {
        width: 90px;
        margin-right: 15px;

    But the theme loads a 300px width image.

    For this must be fixed on the theme side, the theme provider can add a new image size.

    And use those custom size instead of forcing using CSS.

    For your Logo, I suggest manually resize it.

    To fix the logo, manually resize it from 878×292 to 415×138 then replace on the theme settings.

    Taking those steps your images issues should be gone.

    Let us know if you need any further help on this.
