Smush Pro showing issues

If I go to the Hummingbird-> Performance Report it says my images are 15/100 and lists a number of images that need optimizing.
So I got to smush them and it says I only have one image. I have smushed that same image 3 or 4 times. Get a message saying all is good. Reload the page and it says I need to smush that same image?
Whats up with that?

    Hello Ernie,

I hope you are well today.

First, you have to make sure your settings are configured correctly for Smush Pro to optimize your images as much as possible.

Settings you will want to consider are (Admin -> Media -> WP Smush):
    Super-smush my images
    Include my original full-size images
Make a copy of my original images
    Convert PNG to JPEG (lossy)

    See screenshot:

Once you have configured Smush, you can then bulk smush your images. After that, you can check the stats of how much each image has been compressed in your Media Library by selecting the list type view. See screenshot:

Now, regarding the image recurring image showing up that needs optimized... This could be an issue with that particular image. There's a plugin called Regenerate Thumbnails that is handy for resolving issues like this. You may want to try to install and run that plugin prior to optimizing your images using the settings I mentioned above.

I hope this clarifies a bit.

    Best regards,

    James Morris
