Snaphot not Working for one Multisite Installation

Hi guys,

We have a Multisite installation at, where I just can't get Snapshot Pro to actually create a managed backup.

I've set it to run every evening at 11 PM, but to no avail. Often I'd login in the mornings only to see "Automatic backup currently running" - but no backup ever appears in the cloud or on Dropbox.

Unfortunately I can't deactivate/activate plugins to find a culprit (if in fact it is a conflict), since it's a live site containing several other live sites.

I have in the meantime installed another backup plugin, WPB2D, since saving backups is critical - and that seems to be working fine, backing the whole MS installation up to Dropbox.

I have allowed support access in the WPMU DEV Dashboard, in case it's needed.

Hope to hear from you soon!

    Hi Phil ,

    Hope you're doing well today!

Firstly, just to let you know, the Managed backups only save the backup in our cloud. To use another destination (such as Dropbox, Google Drive) you need to use the regular option (through Snapshot -> Add New).

Regarding to your issue, I checked your log file created by Snapshot (Snapshot -> Managed Backups, "Setttings" widget), and it saved an error:

Immediate hook misfired, kickstart backup processing snapshot wpmu

I would like to investigate this further, so, in order to accelerate the process, can you send us the FTP details of your website? If yes, please, send it privately through our contact form:

Select "I have a different question" for your topic - this and the subject line ensure that it gets assigned to me.
