Snapshot fails when backing up uploads folder

I'm using Snapshot Pro and I keep getting the following error:

504 GATEWAY TIME-OUT
The server didn't respond in time.

It does this once it gets to the media folder.

    Hi there, Ricky.

Thank you for contacting us and hope you are doing great.

I have sent this case to our Second Level of Support. They will analyze it and get back to us as soon as possible. Note that they make take a little longer than first level of support staff.

    We appreciate your patience.

    Best Regards,
    Jon

    Hi there Ricky Bailey ,

after looking into your issue, I noticed that the wp-uploads folder contains files worth of over 1GB in size, so that was exhausting the server resources and failed the backups.

I added define('SNAPSHOT_FORCE_ZIP_LIBRARY', 'pclzip'); in your wp-config, which forces Snapshot to use an alternative zipping mechanism and then created a snapshot containing only media files. That snapshot got completed successfully, so the alternative zipping manages to make the backups get over that hump and get properly completed.

I then ran a second snapshot containing the db and all site files except the media ones and that got completed successfully as well. So now, you have two snapshots configured to run weekly that contain all site files and db between them. You can edit their schedule from their settings screen, if you prefer them to run at a different interval.

    Best regards,
    Leonidas
