[Snapshot Pro] Hummingbird and Snapshot Issues

Two issues:

Hummingbird is reporting that several images need optimization but they have all already been smushed. It's causing some client confusion. That's no bueno.

I reported this issue before, but it was never actually resolved. The response neither explained how to solve the problem nor help me understand why having a handful of images not be processed would result in such a low performance score.

The second issue is also old. I'm trying to run Snapshot, but it keeps getting hung up on the media directory, all of which has been smushed, and timing out. I've increased the memory and timeout limits as directed and it's still a problem.

    Hello there tylonius

About the HummingBird issue, I can see that James Morris had replied to you here: https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/hummingbird-hummingbird-issues
Issue is, that there're images that's much larger than the container that hold them, so if you're loading an image that's 500x500px in a 200x200px container, Google will moan that you're loading unnecessary large images (and prompts you to resize/scale down them).
Keep in mind that Smush doesn't change dimensions of an image, but it shrinks its filesize, so there's less server load. You should manually resize these, or contact theme author, so it makes better use of thumbnail sizes.

As for the Snapshot issue, I can also see that you had created a thread, but never got back to us.
Could you please access your server through (S)FTP, edit the wp-config.php file and insert the following lines just above the /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */ comment:
    define('SNAPSHOT_FORCE_ZIP_LIBRARY', 'pclzip');
Then try to split up your snapshot into two.
First select everything apart from Media files, for second one select only the Media files.

    Warm regards,

I'm still having nothing but trouble with this.

My latest problem is that I created a Snapshot of another site in an attempt to clone it, and can't get it to restore (lakenonaimpact.gbcdev.net). I keep getting timeout errors, even though the max_timeout is set to 180. The need for this is somewhat urgent, so a prompt resolution is appreciated. Thanks!

Also, is there a reason I'm not getting any email notifications for support responses? I get Defender notifications and the newsletter just fine, but no support responses.

    Hello there tylonius

I'm really sorry for the frustration here, we're here to do our best to help you out with any WP-related issue.
As this thread initially created for other issues though, and as we're keen on having separate, district threads per member and per issue, could you please create a new thread about the specific restoration issue you're dealing with?
Or you can start a live chat session instead and if needed, we can escalate to forums afterwards.
