Social theme

I am using WPMUDEV Social theme and wanted to move the slider to where the box boy is for non logged in users. Is this possible?

    Ok, so here is what you do :slight_smile:

    First of open this file:

    /wp-content/themes/bp-social/lib/templates/wp-template/top-header.php

    Replace all this:

    <?php if( ($tn_buddysocial_image_code == "") && ($tn_buddysocial_video_code == "") && ($tn_buddysocial_video_code_alt == "") ) { ?>
    <div id="img-code" class="feat-img"><img src="<?php echo get_template_directory_uri(); ?>/_inc/images/header.jpg" alt="header" height="264" /></div>
    <?php } ?>

    <?php if($tn_buddysocial_image_code != "") { ?>
    <div id="img-code" class="feat-img"><img src="<?php echo stripslashes($tn_buddysocial_image_code); ?>" alt="header" /></div>
    <?php } ?>

    <?php if($tn_buddysocial_video_code != "") { ?>
    <div id="video-code" class="feat-img">
    <object data="http://www.youtube.com/v/<?php echo stripslashes($tn_buddysocial_video_code); ?>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="opaque" width="480" height="295">
    <param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/<?php echo stripslashes($tn_buddysocial_video_code); ?>" /><param name="wmode" value="transparent" /></object>
    </div>
    <?php } elseif($tn_buddysocial_video_code_alt != "") { ?>
    <?php echo stripslashes($tn_buddysocial_video_code_alt); ?>
    <?php } ?>

    With this:

    <?php
    $featured_status = get_option('tn_buddysocial_blog_featured_style_status');
    if($featured_status == "enable") { ?>
    <?php locate_template ( array('lib/templates/wp-template/gallery.php'), true ); ?>
    <?php } ?>

    That puts the slider up there.

    Now if you still want to use the video feature, and image feature which was there before, and place that into the location where the slideshow was originally then open this:

    /wp-content/themes/bp-social/index-home.php

    And replace this:

    <?php
    $featured_status = get_option('tn_buddysocial_blog_featured_style_status');
    if($featured_status == "enable") { ?>
    <?php locate_template ( array('lib/templates/wp-template/gallery.php'), true ); ?>
    <?php } ?>

    With this:

    <?php if( ($tn_buddysocial_image_code == "") && ($tn_buddysocial_video_code == "") && ($tn_buddysocial_video_code_alt == "") ) { ?>
    <div id="img-code" class="feat-img"><img src="<?php echo get_template_directory_uri(); ?>/_inc/images/header.jpg" alt="header" height="264" /></div>
    <?php } ?>

    <?php if($tn_buddysocial_image_code != "") { ?>
    <div id="img-code" class="feat-img"><img src="<?php echo stripslashes($tn_buddysocial_image_code); ?>" alt="header" /></div>
    <?php } ?>

    <?php if($tn_buddysocial_video_code != "") { ?>
    <div id="video-code" class="feat-img">
    <object data="http://www.youtube.com/v/<?php echo stripslashes($tn_buddysocial_video_code); ?>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="opaque" width="480" height="295">
    <param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/<?php echo stripslashes($tn_buddysocial_video_code); ?>" /><param name="wmode" value="transparent" /></object>
    </div>
    <?php } elseif($tn_buddysocial_video_code_alt != "") { ?>
    <?php echo stripslashes($tn_buddysocial_video_code_alt); ?>
    <?php } ?>

    That should then swap them both around for you. You may need to do a little CSS modification there.

    If you need anything else then please let us know :slight_smile:
