some images are not being served by Smush CDN

GTMetrix is reporting “Serve scaled images”, I have Smush CDN enabled, however, it seems some images are not being served by Smush CDN.

These images were added via API and are stored in a folder inside the “uploads” folder (uploads/c_img/property), however, they are registered in the Media library.

    Hi Nikita

I had a similar issue a while ago after messing around with the asset optimization in a Hummingbird, make sure that lazyload javascript file is still running normally and your images should re-appear.

Hello Nikita, thanks for using Smush.

On behalf of Second Level Support, I investigated your issue and found out, that your theme (Findeo), has some custom data attributes to render images (data-background-image).

As these attributes are not standard, we escalated your issues, and we are happy to provide a snippet to include also these images.

    Download it here:

If you want to know more on how to install a mu-plugin, visit this link:

    https://wordpress.org/support/article/must-use-plugins/

Briefly, get it and then upload it (the *.php file) in your wp-content/mu-plugins (if directory does not exists, create) and put the snippet under that directory.

As we do comprehensive tests on our code, sometime we may miss something, if so, report it to assist you further.

    Hope this helps!

    Kind regards,

    Alex.
