Speaking Greek

Recently, as plug-ins have come and gone I noticed that my text in posts and in buddypress has been adding additional characters where punctuation existed or did exist. For example: We had a guest speaker come, an Iraqui Veteran, to talk to us about the importance of celebrating Veteran’s Day and inform us about his experience in the war. The kids really enjoyed it and we wrote some poems to thank him for his time and express our gratitiude and what we learned. I think you [...] This is a mild version of the "greek" attack but it has become anoying. Any thoughts on how to get rid of it?
