SQL statement with WHERE clause using wildcard

Hi there,
currently wish to clear the database with a SQL statement. Having problem to determine the needed syntax. Tried it with

DELETE FROM dealsm5_.post_archive WHERE post_archive.post_archive_id = % ' AND post_author = 163;

but this does not work. Do appreciate your advice much.
Thank you.

    Hello Steven,

    I hope you're well today and thank you for your question!

    Unfortunately, the SQL query that you tried to post got broken while posting so I'm not sure what did it look like. It would be great if you could post SQL queries as a "pastebin" url here or an attached .txt file. Other (HTML, JS, CSS, PHP etc) code snippets should go fine while marked as "code".

    I also noticed that you're calling a "post_archive" table. There's no such table in WordPress unless it was created by some plugin. That said, I'm not sure what exactly would you like to clear in the database. Could you please elaborate a bit on this? I'll be happy to work on this with you then.

    Best regards,
