Standard Button Size

http://www.acrosbystory.com/places/ Need a method to control button size, so that they are all the same size. Want the txt to resize automatically to fit the space.
If buttons are not the best way to go, please advise alternate plug in or other method. I am not a programmer, so do not know or understand programming.

    Hi, Larry,

    Hope you’re doing great today and thanks for contacting us :slight_smile:

    Please, try adding this lines of CSS to your site via Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:

    .so-widget-sow-button-atom-19ce9ea64b93 {
     font-size: 20px !important;
    }
    .so-widget-sow-button-atom-53214a76d31c .ow-button-base a {
    padding: 1.43em 2em !important;
    }

    As you can see in the following image, I’ve managed to style the existing buttons so they have the same height and font-size, but this fix may not work for new buttons since 2 of them have one class and the rest have a different one (you’ll need to check if this fix works for new buttons too):

    Please note that there’s no way to get the text to be resized inside a fixed-size button using HTML + CSS. This can be achieved by using some JavaScript (as you can see in this example here), but you’ll need to create a custom div class and create the buttons with it so you can assign them a fixed width and height.

    If you finally decide to use this JS code snippet, you may also want to have a look at this: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/adding-jquery-scripts-wordpress/.

    Since implementing this JavaScript option requires custom coding and that would go a bit beyond the scope of this support forum, if the CSS I provided doesn’t fit your needs and you don't feel confident to implement this by yourself, I suggest you post this on our member’s forums to ask for the help of our valuable members or that you post a job on our job board where you can hire a developer to assist further to implement the JS option on your site: https://premium.wpmudev.org/wordpress-development/

    Hope this helps!

    Kind regards,

    Violeta
