Status Plugin deployed using Shortcode

Is it possible to add Status to a custom post type as a shortcode?

    Hello tripvendor,

    I hope you’re well today and thank you for your question!

    If a “Status” is configured to be added automatically, it should automatically appear on posts of custom type as well. It can however be added “manually” but there’s no shortcode.

    The default way is to use the “wdqs_quick_status()” template tag in a template file like this:

    if (function_exists("wdqs_quick_status")) wdqs_quick_status();

    You can however easily transform that to a shortcode and then use in any post/page on your site (including custom posts). To do this, add following code to the “functions.php” file of your theme:

    function wpmu_status_shortcode() {
    if (function_exists("wdqs_quick_status")) wdqs_quick_status();

    Once it’s there use this shortcode to add status anywhere in the content:

    I hope that helps!

    Best regards,
