Store not Functioning Correctly

Hello, just installed Market Press and some of the pages are not loading correctly, or just blows up.

For instance, the store page loads generic, how do I get it to display my products?

The product overview page blows up:

The Category page loads, but when I veiw an item, I dont see any details like price, or how to Add to cart/Buy

Not sure what i’m missing but this doesn’t look like Shopping Cart, just blog posts.

Please advice?

    Hey there,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    Your errors:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/32/12148232/html/wp-content/themes/belief/lib/php/main.php on line 713

Fatal error: Call to a member function render_header() on a non-object in /home/content/32/12148232/html/wp-content/themes/belief/header.php on line 303

They both seem to relate to your Belief theme as you see from the file path.

Could you please quickly do a test in the default WordPress theme (Ex. Twenty Eleven, Twelve, Thirteen) and let me know if the cart then functions correctly.

We also have a debugging flowchart that should help, you’ll find it on the following page:

Let me know what happens then.

    Take care.

    Hey again.

Best to have a chat with your theme provider as they’ll know the code best. Especially for the fatal error you have there.

I’m guessing that it’s doing something slightly custom with the WP loop and that’s causing issues.

You have a direct link to the original theme so I can see?

Let me know what the theme developer says.

    Take care.

    Hey again.

I wasn’t able to find or download their theme. We don’t have access.

If they need access to our stuff they can contact us through our contact forms and address it to me. I’m happy to help where I can

Or you can pass them a copy if it helps.

Let me know how it all goes.

    Take care.
