Style issue on Blogs MU Site Directory

I notice that there is a small style issue on the BP site directory page for the Blogs MU theme — the link to the latest post overlaps the border line separating one site from the next one in the list. I’ve attached an image to show what I mean.

Also, is there any way to change the words “site” and “sites” to “journal” and “journals” on this page? If there’s a way to change it globally for all occurrences within Buddypress, that would be even better.

    Hey godot.

    The screenshot didn’t attach, please could you try again. :slight_smile:

    Also, is there any way to change the words “site” and “sites” to “journal” and “journals” on this page? If there’s a way to change it globally for all occurrences within Buddypress, that would be even better.

    I presume you mean when it says things like “My Sites”?

    If so then around line 33:

    /blogs-mu/blogs/index.php

    <div class="item-list-tabs" role="navigation">
    <ul>
    <li class="selected" id="blogs-all"><a href="<?php bp_root_domain(); ?>/<?php bp_blogs_root_slug() ?>"><?php printf( __( 'All Sites <span>%s</span>', 'buddypress' ), bp_get_total_blog_count() ); ?></a></li>

    <?php if ( is_user_logged_in() && bp_get_total_blog_count_for_user( bp_loggedin_user_id() ) ) : ?>

    <li id="blogs-personal"><a href="<?php echo bp_loggedin_user_domain() . bp_get_blogs_slug() ?>"><?php printf( __( 'My Sites <span>%s</span>', 'buddypress' ), bp_get_total_blog_count_for_user( bp_loggedin_user_id() ) ); ?></a></li>

    <?php endif; ?>

    <?php do_action( 'bp_blogs_directory_blog_types' ); ?>

    </ul>
    </div><!-- .item-list-tabs -->

    And around line 89:

    ~/Downloads/blogs-mu/blogs/blogs-loop.php

    <div id="message" class="info">
    <p><?php _e( 'Sorry, there were no sites found.', 'buddypress' ); ?></p>
    </div>

    You can also have language translations within the theme:

    /blogs-mu/languages/

    Hope this helps.

    Take care.

    Yeah I see it now. :slight_smile:

    Go to:

    /themes/bp-social/_inc/css/bp-css.css

    and change this:

    ul.item-list li {
    padding: 12px 0;
    margin: 6px 0;
    }

    To something like:

    ul.item-list li {
    padding: 12px 0 30px;
    margin: 6px 0;
    }

    That should sort it out for you. :slight_smile:

    Thanks for letting me know, I’ll ping the developer on this as well.

    Take care.
