Styling of Events doesn't render nicely

Hi there,
Events is a great plugin but the event page itself looks a bit weird with a blue background and strange RSVP buttons.

The plugin was supposed to pick up the styling from the theme but this doesn't seem to be the case.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Also, am having trouble linking to a general events page. At the moment it's only showing a single event - rather than all the events that have been added to the site.

    Hey Ananda,

    Hope you're doing well today :slight_smile:

    Styling depends on the theme plugin is used with and the CSS selectors the theme uses.
    I checked your event page and here is some CSS code that should make it look better:

    .single-incsub_event .event {
        background: none;
    }

    .wpmudevevents-buttons .wpmudevevents-no-submit,
    .wpmudevevents-buttons .wpmudevevents-maybe-submit,
    .wpmudevevents-buttons .wpmudevevents-yes-submit {
        color: #fff;
        padding: 5px 10px;
        padding: 0.3125rem 0.625rem;
        background-color: #4f4f4f;
        text-decoration: none;
        cursor: pointer;
        display: inline-block;
        -webkit-transition: all 0.1s linear;
        -moz-transition: all 0.1s linear;
        transition: all 0.1s linear;
        border: 0;
        box-shadow: none;
        -webkit-appearance: none;
        text-shadow: none;
        border-radius: 0;
        background-image: none;
    }

    .wpmudevevents-buttons .wpmudevevents-no-submit:hover,
    .wpmudevevents-buttons .wpmudevevents-maybe-submit:hover,
    .wpmudevevents-buttons .wpmudevevents-yes-submit:hover {
        background: #2a2a2a;
    }

    If your theme doesn't have custom CSS field, then you may wish to use a child theme or a plugin like this one for this additional CSS. That way you're protected when you come to upgrade.

    Also, am having trouble linking to a general events page. At the moment it's only showing a single event - rather than all the events that have been added to the site.

    I'm not sure about this part though, I see 3 events there, can you please elaborate a bit or let me know if I'm missing something here :slight_smile:

    Best regards,
    Predrag

    Hi there Predrag,
    Thanks so much for that the code works fantastically and the events are now looking part of the site.
    With regard to the events I checked on Firefox and it's just showing one event but when I had a look in Chrome it's showing all of them.
    I've refreshed etc but I haven't cleared the cache so fingers crossed it's related to that. Could you have a quick look in firefox and see if you get the same results as in chrome.
    Thanks again for your quick and great support.
