Subsite stoped working

So today my subsite stoped working :slight_frown:

First, my setup is like this:

# BEGIN WordPress
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]

# uploaded files
RewriteRule ^files/(.+) wp-includes/ms-files.php?file=$1 [L]

# add a trailing slash to /wp-admin
RewriteRule ^wp-admin$ wp-admin/ [R=301,L]

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d
RewriteRule ^ - [L]
RewriteRule ^(wp-(content|admin|includes).*) $1 [L]
RewriteRule ^(.*\.php)$ $1 [L]
RewriteRule . index.php [L]

# END WordPress

and i got this in the wp config:

define( 'WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE', true );

define('MULTISITE', true);
define('SUBDOMAIN_INSTALL', true);
define('DOMAIN_CURRENT_SITE', '');
define('PATH_CURRENT_SITE', '/');
define('SITE_ID_CURRENT_SITE', 1);
define('BLOG_ID_CURRENT_SITE', 1);

so i am running a mu with subdomains, and i have setup a wildcard in cpaneld *

i have several subsites setup in wordpress and, but suddenly they all stoped working.
going to any of the subsites created in wordpress just redirects to the main wordpress site.

any other subdomains, out side of the wordpress install, works just fine.

My wordpress install has been working fin up until now :disappointed:

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Hey Creatura,

    Oh, sorry to hear that :slight_frown:

    You .htaccess and wp-config look fine so this shouldn't be the issue here.

    Do you remember if there were any changes on your site around the time that this started happening, any updates to your WP, plugins, themes?

    Have you tried checking with your hosting provider to see if there's anything in server logs that could tell us what's going on?

    What happens if you try creating new subsite, does it also redirect to main site or it works fine?

    Best regards,

    Well, i think i might have sorted it :stuck_out_tongue:

    I updated the Profile Builder Pro plugin and after the update things started act as described above, when i disable the plugin it all goes back to normal... must be som redirects or something going on with that plugin. it has been working fine in earlier versions tho. we use that plugin for frontend editing of profile / customer info for our users
