"superadmin" suggested tasks on a multisite

I have read at times that the WP admin should never create posts for security reasons.
I would love to hear feedback here on anyones knowledge as to how true this really is and exactly why.

Likewise specifically for multisite should the superadmin create pages, posts and even more specifically courses in "CoursePress" ?

Any kind thoughts and experience in this would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

RC.

Hey @Randall, hope you're doing well today!

Last I recall, the reasoning behind this was due to the fact that the username is made available inside of the post meta (check out the link to the author archive page by hovering over the author name, you'll see the username as part of the address).

As the username would be provided there, that's a username that could be tested when someone is trying to log in to your site.

This wouldn't apply to pages & courses however, as they don't have post meta, so you should be okay on that front.

(the only time the post meta would possibly show up for courses would be if there's some sort of hiccup with the page template inside the theme you're using)

    Hope this helps!

    Kind Regards,
    Michael
