Support Ticket Plugin Formating

I am using X-Theme at our support site @ support.rvhobo.net. The problem is that there appears to be a conflict with X-Theme. I tried a plain page: http://support.rvhobo.net/submit-ticket/ and a page edited with Cornerstone, placing the shortcode in bot their "raw" and text components: http://support.rvhobo.net/support/. In the first case, you will see the buttons are messed up. In the second case, the control widths were overridden.

I tried creating new classes using your names (they show up in the "Raw" control in Cornerstone). I used both .classname and #idname with no luck.

I would rather have #2 working (Cornerstone) but would be OK with #1 (standard page).

Any help would be appreciated,

Jesse

Hello Jesse, I hope you are doing well today!

I am using X-Theme at our support site @ support.rvhobo.net. The problem is that there appears to be a conflict with X-Theme

Would you please clarify, there is a conflict between X theme and what plugin?

Unfortunately, I do not have the X theme to test it out. Would you please grant access from WPMU DEV > Support so I can have a closer look?

Please see the detailed instructions on the link below:
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/manuals/wpmu-dev-dashboard-enabling-staff-login/

Let me know when you do!

    Cheers,
    Nastia

    Hi jetiii,
Hope you are doing good today

Thanks for granting support staff access. First of all I want to mention that its not corner stone conflict or standard page magic. Its Support System plugin that only loads the styles on the page selected by you from Network -> Support -> Settings -> Front End -> Submit new ticket Page, to avoid loading of files on throughout site.

This is the correct page with loading the styles:

These are the pages that are required to make the plugin work properly with proper formatting/styles.
http://support.rvhobo.net/support-ticket/ (should page slug should be just support - this page act as main page of support system displaying all tickets with submit new ticket button)

http://support.rvhobo.net/submit-ticket/ (this is the correct page to submit the ticket)

http://support.rvhobo.net/faq/ (this is the support system FAQ page to display all FAQ's)

Hope that clears this up but please don't hesitate to post a reply if you need further assistance

    Best Regards,
    Sajid

    SajidHi Sajid,

I am using those pages. I simply added your shortcode to produce the page. However, did you look at the buttons? IKnstead of the normal buttons that come up with X-Theme, I am getting a green "DOS Text Button" reminiscent of my DOS character graphics days (been a CS fo r39 years). I know how to use the pages, but the buttons obviously have a conflict with the X-Theam Button class or you guys need a new graphics designer. LOL

    Hi jetiii,
Hope you are doing good today

Yes, I can see the button from X-Theme (see screenshot to be sure we are on same page), its because the default styles are not loading on this page.

Why not loading ? I have explained it earlier that, the styles and scripts will only load on the page you have selected from Network -> Support -> Settings -> Front End -> Submit new ticket.

You might also noticed that the upload files button is missing on this page too, this is also because the scripts are not loading here.

So, just shortcode is not enough (this is how this plugin designed to work), you must have selected that page in the plugins settings (Network -> Support -> Settings -> Front End -> Submit new ticket) to work properly.

Hope I am not missing something and clear it up, if I do then please point out with screenshot so we can move forward.

Take care and have a nice day

    Best Regards,
    Sajid
