    Hiya,

Ok how does a customer sign-up for the Supporter option after the tried out the free trial?

They should be able to click on the Supporter menu item and select from the 3 payment options you provided in the settings.

When they click on the link, what happens? There are several things that could cause a link not to work ranging from a javascript conflict due to a buggy plugin to the Supporter plugin not being setup/installed properly.

Let us know what happens when someone clicks on the link and we can provide some further guidance. Also, check your server's error logs. If there's anything there that's a great place to start!

    Thanks!

ok, I have a test account #1 set up. we declined the supporter option at sign-up. When we log in to the account we see the supporter link, but when click on it we only get the dashboard.

We have another test account #2, with this account we did select the supporter option. we see all the payment options to subscribe to.

Also, today I manually upgraded account #1 to supporter to see what would happen, but nothing changed. In our site admin, we see that account #1 is now a supporter customer, but we log in to account #1 we don't see any changes.

Where do I find the file "favicon.ico" I downloaded the latest edu-know and edu-clean themes but I don't see the file to upload. Sorry if I should now this but I'm just a newbee.

Also, what does the other errors mean?

    Hiya,

The favicon.ico is the file that appears next to the URL in the browser of a visitor when they're at your site. It's not important to what we're doing here, but you can create and customize your own at some point if ya like.

So, when you say "Account #1" this is a new site and new user, correct? Same deal for "Account #2"?

Supporter attaches the payment (and thus enables certain features) on a site-by-site basis. It's attached to the site - not the user.

I guess my next question is, what's the role of the user on the site? Is it an admin user or a subscriber? The screenshot you've shown is pretty much what a subscriber would see when logged into a site (whether supporter or not) because a subscriber doesn't have the ability to create posts/pages or modify any settings.

Let's make sure we're on the same page and we'll go from there.

    Thanks!
