tags to personalize a newsletter by members names

I am trying to figure out how to get the name of the recipient of the news letter in the header using the name field of the imported mailing list.

Do I add a section like this is om HTML template?

To {to_NAME}
I added a screen shot to show what I am trying to do

    Hi @cisaz

    Welcome to the forums!

Unfortunately, this plugin does not support custom macros as yet.

It is a good feature suggestion though. So I'll move this topic to the Features & Feedback forum to give it more exposure in the community. The more support a suggestion gets, the more likely we are to consider implementing it in a future release of the plugin.

    Hi @cias,
As @patric just said, this is not possible through the backend, but if you really want to do this, you can change the template files through ftp.

    To do so, go to wp-content > plugins > e-newsletter > templates > disco > template.html
Open this file, here you can edit the template.

On line 42 you see this.
    <h2 style="margin:0px; padding-top:10px; color:#eebb00 !important;">From {FROM_NAME} ({FROM_EMAIL})</h2>

You can change this to for instance:
    <h2 style="margin:0px; padding-top:10px; color:#eebb00 !important;">To {FROM_NAME} ({FROM_EMAIL})</h2>

    Or something else.

I hope this helps, but note that when you update the plugin this wil be removed

    Hey everyone!

It is possible for few months to use variables like this:

{USER_NAME} displays the user’s WordPress username in the newsletter
{TO_EMAIL} displays the email address the newsletter was sent to
{VIEW_LINK} displays the link to view the newsletter in a browser
{DATE} displays the date the newsletter was sent

I am sorry i have missed this topic.
